John Wall Looking Good
First round draft picks have high expectations attached with them as they enter the NBA. Although John Wall was only at Kentucky for one year, he showed enough talent and the potential for the Wizards to make him the first pick of the draft.
If the Las Vegas Summer League is any indication, than they will be more than happy with Wall when the 2010-11 season starts.
Wall looked great in the summer league averaging 23.5 points and 7.8 rebounds in the four games that he played. Along with his scoring ability, Wall seemed adept at making those around him better as well; something that definitely comes in handy for a point guard.
For his play in Las Vegas he was named the Most Outstanding Player of the 2010 Las Vegas Summer League. In his one year in college Wall was named to several first team list and numerous awards including the SEC Player of the Year, first team All-SEC, and many, many more.
