Mavericks Owner Mark Cuban wants NBA to examine Miami Heat

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, as well as the rest of the NBA’s fans, says that the NBA should examine how three stellar free agents in LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade all wound up on the same team with the Miami Heat.

Cuban told a group of reporters at the NBA's summer league in Las Vegas that he intends to ask the league's Board of Governors to look into the situation.

It is well known and was widely publicized that the three players, James, Bosh, and Wade, conspired the move from the beginning and that they all planned to sign with the Heat from day one so that they could form a dream team in the NBA.

According to sources, the three had a meeting at James’ home on June 19 to possibly set up plans to eventually sign and play together with the Heat. At the time of the meeting, all three players were still under contract with their respective teams and free agent recruiting and negotiating, by players, team officials or agents, is not permitted until July 1.

Cuban says the league needs to develop more definitive rules governing the issue of player tampering.

Cuban is right, there are definite tampering rules for the owners and the teams themselves and there should be rules so that the players cannot tamper as well.

It is pretty obvious even after all of the hoopla and meetings with other teams that James, Wade, and Bosh all tampered with the system so that they could all end up playing together with the Heat.

NBA owners are scheduled to meet Monday in Las Vegas.

Cuban IS right... it was collusion and flies against what the salary cap was trying to prevent and the NBA will not do anything about it...
